Dala-pig, painted blue

The Dala-pig has been manufactured at  Nils Olssons  since 1945 when Sparbanken (now Swedbank) requested a "piggy bank".  Nowadays it is a solid pig without the possibility of using it as a piggy bank.

 

All our products are unique, everything is made by hand and each pig has its own character.

So there are no two exactly the same pigs in the world, just as there should be with a real craft.
